Nylon Canvas
You are right! Nylon Canvas is
a contradiction in terms. Nylon Canvas is our descriptive term
for this 100% Nylon fabric that has been deliberately
woven from a texturised yarn to obtain a soft cotton "canvas" touch.
This combination of softness and strength has not been possible until now.
The outer surface of Nylon Canvas has a durable, water-repellent Teflon®
finish which improves the fabric's performance by resisting all surface water
and ensures any soiling is easily removed during cleaning.
Nylon Canvas is very hard-wearing, shower-proof, soil-proof, wind-proof
and snow-proof. An ideal windshell fabric for travellers and active outdoor
enthusiasts.
The Espresso and Exile styles are fully
lined with fleece to provide extra windproofing and insulation. Espresso
uses a 240gram/m² Eskimo fleece
lining and the Exile a Tecnopile® Micro Fleece. Both the Nylon Canvas
and the fleece liners in these styles are fully washable and extremely durable.
All stress points are bartacked for extra strength.
