WindStopper® Fleece
WindStopper® is the world's quality windproof fleece. The
combination of W L Gore's internal membrane with Pontetorto's micro
fleece ensures a soft-touch, durable fabric that is totally windproof
and highly breathable. A WindStopper® fleece garment provides
more than twice the warmth in a 30km/hr wind compared with standard
fleece.
We use two qualities of WindStopper® fleece, a double-sided
fleece as used in the WindStopper® Gloves and a lighter, single-sided
fleece with an internal mesh backing for the more technical Banshee
Vest and Piranha
Jacket.
